B2B Seminar vol.27 “Buddhist-Based Human Resource Development: An Organization Where We Learn and Grow Together”|「

This seminar was an online discussion held under the theme “Buddhist-Based Talent Development and Organizations Where People Learn and Grow Together,” featuring Mr. Nishihara, Professor Hirahara, and His Eminence Otani Guen, Head of the Otani Sect. Mr. Nishihara emphasized the importance of Buddhist-based talent development and the benefits of nurturing others by setting aside one’s ego; he explained the concept that teaching others—using the story of “Ramen Man” as an example—also leads to one’s own growth. Professor Hirahara discussed changes in talent development accompanying the evolution of AI technology. He suggested that entrepreneurs like Elon Musk might adopt organizational structures centered around an AI director and emphasized the importance of human education. Tatsuya pointed out the issue of attachment in the development process and stressed the importance of growth through trust and questioning. Finally, the discussion centered on the Buddhist philosophy of talent development—striking a balance between self-reliance and reliance on others, and the idea that by nurturing others, one also grows oneself.
