My colleagues and I went to attend this rather big event at MRANTI , Bukit Jalil. It was the official kick-off event run by MRANTI, Ministry of Health, and other ministries, about Malaysia’s launching of NTIS HealthTech Hub. This was my first time to see the Minister in person. Sure I’m still cannot understand what he said in Malay, but perfectly understood his straightforward English with little Malaysian accent.

The good news was that Malaysian government created 5 “sandbox” hospitals among federal research hospitals where we could try out cutting-edge digital health innovations in real-life situations. The bad news was that UM was not one of them. Well, we’ve gotta make our presence swift and firm.
